Collectively, the ASC management team has over one hundred (100) years of experience in the Security and Commercial building industry. Virginia Robinson and Michael Robinson started their careers at ADT Security Systems in 1988. Virginia's management experience at ADT was the foundation for the key role of CEO at ASC. After ADT, Michael was Sales & Operations Manager for Vicon Industries, a CCTV manufacturer, then later with International Electric Protection, an installation company specializing in casino surveillance. Michael attained a certification Level III from the National Institute of Certification of Engineering Technologies (NICET) for Fire Alarm systems and is certified with the State Fire Marshal's office for design of Fire Systems.
From 1974-1999, Richard Lopez was employed by NASA as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager. Richard's background is in design and maintenance of electrical power, fire alarm, intercom, video and control systems. Richard has obtained a NICET Level II certification. Edna Lopez' human resources proficiency has been instrumental to ASC's daily operations.
Thomas Silva, Sales and Operations Manager, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Architectural Engineering in 2007. Prior to ASC, he was a Project Engineer for the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center and the W Hotel with Austin Commercial, a general contractor.
Our technicians are trained and certified by Bosch, DVtel, Hirsch, i3 International, iQinvision and Vicon. The strength of our team stems from the combined expertise in both the technical and management areas. This permits the establishment of broad and flexible goals designed to meet the security industry's demands.
Since 1998, ASC has grown from a local family business to a thriving entity with a dedicated IT department, separate design, service department and installation department. Our primary customer base is government, commercial, and educational facilities.
